BMW M4 2025: All The Details of It’s Facelift

Following the refreshed 4 Series, BMW also reveals upgrades for the 2025 BMW M4 and M4 convertible. Most of the changes focus on small exterior and interior tweaks. The biggest news, however, is that the 2025 M4 Competition xDrive coupe and convertible models get an additional 20 horsepower.

The power increase for M4 Competition models with all-wheel drive (xDrive) does not translate into faster acceleration times or increases in top speed. The 2025 M4 Competition xDrive coupe will continue to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in 3.4 seconds and 3.6 seconds for the convertible, the same as the outgoing model. However, the M Driver’s Package (optional) increases that speed to 290 km/h for the coupe or 280 km/h for the convertible.

The “2025 BMW M4” Competition remains at 503 horsepower, while the basic M4 continues with 473 power units. The base 2025 M4 also retains its six-speed manual gearbox.

The changes to the exterior of the M4 are minimal. For the front, there are redesigned headlights with a more functional appearance (according to BMW), with high and low beams incorporated into the same LED module. New daytime running lights with an ‘arrowhead’ design also function as turn signals.

2025 BMW M4 Get Laser Lights and Curved Screens But Still Have Big Kidneys

BMW was once known for producing desirable cars wrapped in elegantly understated sheet metal, but that has changed in recent years, and the new 2025 has been given a facelift. Fortunately, BMW still offers the “2025 BMW M4” claims the M4 Competition xDrive achieves 3.4 seconds from 0 to 60, but we know BMW underestimates its cars. The M4 also gets the same updated lights as the regular 4 Series, plus slight tweaks to the grille.

All new 4 Series and M4 models get the brand’s new curved display, which combines a 12.3-inch gauge cluster and a 14.9-inch gauge cluster. The base price of the M4 Competition xDrive increases by $2,000 to $89,295 for the coupe and $96,295 for the convertible. Pricing for the M4 and M4 Competition convertibles has yet to be announced. Deliveries are expected to begin in March of this year.

2025 BMW M4 Specs and Technical Options

2025 BMW M4 Range, Prices and Launch

The new 2025 BMW M4 Coupe and M4 Convertible will go into production and sales in March 2024, when the rest of the 4 Series renewal cycle will also begin, with prices yet to be revealed. All of them will be produced at the BMW Group’s Dingolfing plant.

BMW M4 CS 2025. Great Performance, With A Coupe Aroma

BMW says the 2025 M4 CS weighs 20 kilograms less than the M4 Competition thanks to the use of carbon fibre-reinforced plastic in various body panels such as the hood, front splitter and rear diffuser, among others. Additionally, the material is used in the centre console, shift paddles and other interior pieces. The standard M Carbon seats are lighter, and they also managed to save 3.63 kilograms in the exhaust system.

A chassis tune and CS (Competition Sport) specific suspension result in a coupe that is very quick in corners. It’s not as fast as a CSL (Coupé Sport Ligero), but it’s very close.
